WIN Program:
Mr. Keith Lookely, WIN Manager, is scheduled to visit Belize from May 10-12, 2009. The reason of the visit is to meet with all potential stakeholders with a view to formulate projects. The FFB is preparing itself for this visit.
Refereeing:
Mr. Gerald Henry left Belize enroute to the CONCACAF U-17 Finals in Tijuana, Mexico. We wish him well. Mr. David Jones and Josue Rivera returned from a Futsal Referee Instruction Course held in San Jose, Costa Rica.
Women's Football:
The FFB "Delhart Courtney Cup" Women's Football Tournament is a success so far. Some eleven teams started over six weeks ago and now there are four teams remaining. Click here for Women's Football Tournament.
B-Division Football:
The FFB met over the weekend to put into practice a resolution of the AGM held on April 4, 2009. The B-Division competition will play with 16 teams. This competition is experimental in nature preparing clubs for the B-Division competition that will see relegations between the A-Belize Premier Football League and B-National First Division Championships.
Marketing:
The FFB continues to produce its weekly program, Its Kick off Time on Plus TV. This program is aired every Thursday night at 9:00 p.m. The women's tournament is being videoed and aired on Plus TV.
