Youth Football
The selection and preparation of the National U-17 and U-20 National Teams for FIFA World Cup has begun. The FFB withdrew from the U-17 competition. The U-20 will participate in the UNCAF Elimination to be held in Honduras from 1st – 5th December, 2010. The U-20 Pre-selection is training under Coach Couoh.
The FFB has introduced Grass Roots football in Belize by holding football festivals in every district associations.The FFB will organize the National U-16 tournament for players born between 1996 – 1998 for preparation of a selection for UNCAF U-16 2011 Championship.
The National U 20 Male Team leaves Belize on November 25, 2010 for the UNCAF U-20 torunament in Honduras beginning December 1, 2010.
They will be playing two friendlies. The first friendly will be November 26, 2010 against Platense at Puerto Cortes. The second friendly will be a preliminary on November 28, 2010 before the Marathon/ Espana game. The Belize U-20 vs Reserva de Marathon.
Belize's U-20 first scheduled match in UNCAF trounament will be on december 1, 2010 at 3:00 p:m against El Salvador.
Belize's U-20 second match will be on December 5, 2010 at 5:00 p:m against Honduras.
