Football Federation of Belize

This weekend saw the conclusion of the semi-final round in the annual Delhart Courtney Cup – Women’s Football Tournament.  Orange Walk’s Suga City Gurlz defeated West Girls from Benque at the Louisiana Field in a game that was terminated due to intrusion from West Girls’ Coach when he made the decision to take his players off the field and forfeit the remainder of the match.  Meanwhile, Triple B’s of Belmopan tarnished the hopes of Corozal United FC in making it to the finals on Corozal’s home soil with a 2-1 victory.

The finals will be a home and away series between the defending champs; Triple B’s and Suga City Gurlz.  The first game is scheduled to be played on the 14th May and the second game on the 22nd May, 2011.
