Emphasis has been placed on Refereeing and everything is on track with the FFB refereeing activities which includes:
A) To send referee instructors to Futuro III courses
B) To organize local seminars for referees
C) To continue organizing the national referee testing program
D) To have local referees participate in international seminars organized by UNCAF, CONCACAF and FIFA
E) To organize a Futuro III course in all aspects of refereeing with international participation through RAP.
The Chairman of the Football Federation of Belize Referees Committee was established in April 2007.Mr. David Jones, FFB’s Vice-president and Chairman of the National Referees Commission, was in Tegucigalpa on February 27th, 2010 attending a meeting of chairpersons of UNCAF countries Referees Commissions. The purpose of the meeting was to plan their work for 2010.
Mr. Amir Castillo, FIFA Referee, has been appointed 4th official for the game Belize vs. Nicaragua on March 21st, 2010.
